Top 3 Excursions in Puerto Rico
I always love some type of adventure while traveling. I enjoy exploring destinations and participating in activities and excursions to make my trip memorable. I will always remember ziplining upside down in Cancun or snorkeling in Belize. As an explore[her], here’s the top excursions I suggest for Puerto Rico:
El Yunque Rainforest
My sister suggested I try this excursion because she enjoyed it when she explored Puerto Rico. I decided to try it because I wanted to jump off a cliff into water. Yes, I wanted to feel the thrill and conquer fear.
This excursion was worth the money and thrill. For $69 on Airbnb experiences, we hiked the smallest rainforest in the world, slid down a natural water slide, and jumped off a cliff. My host, Marlon was very knowledgeable about the rainforest and made us feel comfortable the entire time. He spoke to us in English and Spanish-some guests only spoke Spanish. He also did not pressure anyone to jump but encouraged us. It is a muddy hike but amazing experience.

2. Tour old San Juan with photographer
Old San Juan is like the downtown area of San Juan. It has quaint bars, boutiques, and restaurants. The nightlife is lively and cultural. During the day, old San Juan is filled with history and culture.
We booked a photographer who gave us a tour of old San Juan and photos. Our tour guide, Kevin gave us historical facts about the national site such as how the forts and tunnels were made. He was insightful and efficient. The photos takes 2-3 days to come back. But we took some photos on our phone as well. Explore one of the first and oldest cities in America and take cool photos. I even got to witness a protest/demonstration while in old San Juan.

3. Day trip to Culebra
San Juan is a hot destination for most Americans but Puerto Rico is filled with 143 islands. Culebra is one of those islands that you should visit. Culebra is filled with marine life and tranquility. It is a smaller island that’s filled with locals and amazing beaches and food. Take a day trip from San Juan to Culebra and visit Flamenco Beach. I went snorkeling and had a wonderful experience.
