How to have the BEST Bachelorette Party in NEW ORLEANS

One of my close friends always told me: “I want a bachelorette party in New Orleans when I get married.”

So I gave her just that. In fact it was a SURPRISE bachelorette party. It was hard to pull off but 5 of her best girlfriends pulled off the best surprise bachelorette party in New Orleans. I decided to be the head planner of the bachelorette party. I searched and searched to find the best things to do in New Orleans. The other girls searched as well.

Here’s some tips that we used for planning and executing the bachelorette party.

Where we decided to stay:

Le Méridien New Orleans. After searching online for the perfect hotel, I chose Hyatt in New Orleans. The only bummer was the hotel didn’t have a pool. I had envisioned a great pool photoshoot so I was disappointed that Hyatt didn’t have pool. Stumbling upon TravelPirates.com I saw a deal for Le Meridien New Orleans.

I quickly searched our summer dates and surprisedly the hotel was cheaper than Hyatt. I booked immediately. We paid $520 for a weekend. The hotel included two double beds and a sofa. Le Meridien in New Orleans was in the PERFECT location. It is located about two blocks from Bourbon street and across the street from Harrah’s casino. Although the room was small, the location made up for the room. We were able to walk to Harrah’s, walk to bourbon street and Uber other places in short distance.

Where we ate:

We decided to eat brunch at Ruby Slipper in French Quarter. The Uber’s we had taken from the airport had raved about Ruby Slipper. So we slipped on our maxi dresses and headed to brunch at the Ruby Slipper.  We arrived around 12pm. There was a wait. They told us we would have to wait for about 45 minutes. So we walked French Quarter, shopped a little and snap every picture we could pose for.

But. We were Hungry. Forty-Five minutes turned into an hour and 15 minutes. However, it was worth the wait. The mimosas were great! They included a nice mix of orange juice and champagne. I decided to get smoked salmon, egg and biscuit. It was amazing! The biscuit was soft and warm and the salmon was made with perfect grilling.

The Party Bus

Good ‘ol Instagram. I searched and searched online for a party bus. Most of the party bus on Google had already been booked for the date. So i decided to search the tag line #partybusneworleans. The perfect party bus: Black Magic popped up (https://instagram.com/black_magic_504?igshid=1e9ghz7ghf5md).

Overall, we had an amazing trip to New Orleans to celebrate the future Mrs.
