Check out this Food and Wine Festival this Fall

Fall time is here with pumpkins, apple spice, and plenty of food and wine festivals. Last year I had the opportunity to visit Bayhaven Food and Wine Festival in Charlotte, NC and it was a great time and experience. Here’s some highlights:

Limitless Food Samples. The food samples included 50 different options from various cities around the United States. This included soul food, Caribbean food, and African fusion. There were unlimited food samples and I went back to my favorites for seconds and thirds.

Limitless Wine Samples. There was also limitless wine and alcohol samples to try. Though not as many wine options as food options, the wine was a great addition to the festival. The wine samples included rose wine, red wine, white wine, whiskey, and fall mixed drink options.

Social Media Installations. The festival had some social media installations to help curate the theme and festival. They had a 360 camera with props as well. It was a fun addition while taking a break from the food and wine samples.

Reasonable Price. The price of the festival this year is about $100 for the tasting tent event. This ticket includes the food and wine sample tent and a take-home wine cup. There is also a brunch option on sunday for $190. The brunch includes 12 notable chefs with wine and music.

Overall, the BayHaven Food and Wine Festival is a great fall festival that encompasses Black chefs, Black culture, and good vibes. This year, the Bayhaven festival will be on Oct. 4-8, 2023. Check out BayHaven website for tickets and more details.
