Edivo Vina Winery is located on the Pelješac peninsula in the town of Drače and visitors will be able to discover decadent wines under the Adriatic Sea. This tour would be the best of both worlds while on a vacation. You get a scuba diving excursion while also retrieving wine.

Who doesn’t like a two in one deal? Ladies, Croatia is famously known all over the world for their Dingač and Plavac Mali wines. So this wine must be worth the dive!

Price:

You can purchase the wine either in a bottle or amphora from the Edivo Vina Winery. While both are popular, they differ in price, with the ocean wine reaching up to $400.

How it works:

The Plavac Mali grapes are crushed and made into wine that is aged for three months on land. Then they submerge the wine in the sea. The name of this line is ‘Navis Mysterium’, which translates to ‘The Sea Mystery.’ Sounds intriguing already huh?

Due to the pressure at 60 feet in the water, normal corks are inadequate, so winemakers have crafted a special two-layer wax seal for the wines. Each of the .75L glass bottles is first encased in a clay amphora, then protected with the special cork and seal. Your wine will be sealed and ready to be delivered. And there you have it ladies, under the sea wine.

We can’t forget to talk about how beautiful the sea will be. The Adriatic Sea has beautiful corals, barnacles, shells and other ocean life for you to see and take in.

Lastly, if you can’t make it to Croatia or this place isn’t on your bucket list, a number of countries have followed the practice of underwater wineries. Greece, Italy, California, Spain and France all feature wineries that have submerged their bottles for various periods of time.

Croatia, however, is the only place you can personally dive. So gear up ladies and explore luxurious wine under the sea at Edivo Vina Winery.
