Explore Baltimore for CIAA Weekend

Baltimore. Baldimore. Bmore. My hometown is host of CIAA weekend February 26-March 2, 2024. CIAA (Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association) is the oldest African-American athletic conference in the US. It is also a celebration of Black sports, Black colleges, and Black entertainment. Last year a time was had and we are planning to do it again in 2024. Here’s your Lux Girl Guide to Events:

Baltimore has soo many events and activities for CIAA weekend. I teamed up with Kenda (@TheCharmCityMaven), a Baltimore Lifestyle and Entertainment Blogger, to explore events, brunches, and parties during CIAA weekend.

Where to stay:

The Ivy Hotel

The Ivy Hotel is a Black-owned luxury hotel located downtown Baltimore which has airy suites and rooms. The amenities of the hotel includes breakfast, spa, tea time, and valet parking. This hotel is about 6 minutes drive from CIAA main event center.

Airbnb

The other option is the fabulous airbnb in Fells Point, Baltimore. This airbnb is a two-bedroom cozy townhome near Baltimore’s famous bars and eateries. I stayed in this airbnb. Check out my review.
