My Euro Summer included Paree (Paris) and all I could think about was shopping-visiting every high end store and splurging. I visited the Eiffel Tower and Louvre museum but then, I asked, “what’s next?” I didn’t really know what else to do in Paris. Fortunately a Paris native gave me suggestions. Here’s her suggestions of some hidden gems in Paris:

For my lux girls, this rooftop has a restaurant and bar attached with amazing views and Eiffel Tower as backdrop. It also has a garden and cocktail bar with lounge sofas and chairs. Visit this rooftop for a great sunset vibe before the club.

3. Place de la Bastille

Paris is known for its cafes and public squares/parks. Place de la Bastille is a famous square where a prison once stood. The square is an open space where you can sit and people watch, eat ice cream, plan a picnic, or read a book. This area also features an opera, bars, and shops. It is a great place to visit in the afternoon to transition to evening.

4. Wanderlust

Wanderlust is a club that plays hip-hop and house music. It is a great vibe and late night spot in Paris. The club scene is Paris can be a little biased so make sure you make reservations to ensure you are able to get in the club without a wait.

This modern and contemporary art museum hosts temporary exhibitions. This unique museum feature exhibitions from emerging artists and known artists. It includes graffiti, paintings, sculpture, performance, and video. The museum also includes dining and a club-YoYo club. This is a great spot to visit in the evening to experience art and party vibes.

6. d’Orsay Museum

Is the Louvre or d’Orsay better? Many people (including me) flocked to Louvre however locals love d’Orsay Museum. d’Orsay is for architecture fans and impressionist art lovers. This museum is located in a former railway station and features a famous clock face. Visit this during daytime to explore in appropriate amount of time.

7. Arab Museum-Institut de Monde Arabe

The local who gave recommendations praised this museum and considers this museum her favorite. This museum explores the artistic bridge between France and Arab. Art techniques include bronze, textiles, illuminations, and installations. Visit this museum during the day for appropriate amount of time to explore.
